I think this class will help me a huge amount in the future, and it will hopefully help me be financially stable for my whole life. The credit unit will probably be the biggest help in the real world because it taught things that are not very well known. This class has been huge for preparing me for the real world, and I feel like I am pretty prepared for it now after taking this class.

I've learned soooooo much from this class. This is the first ever class that I actually enjoyed and was worth even going to school for. EVERYTHING was beneficial for what I want to do in life. Thank you so much. I would give you specifics of what was the best things I learned through this, but honestly I don't feel like copying all of the pages from all of my packets down to here since everything was very very useful for me. Thank you so so so much!!

This is the only class I will take with me from high school besides personal finance. I told my step mom about what we are doing. She was so excited and said there needs to be more of that in high school, and I 100% agree. This class will save me a lot of money, time and effort in the future. This class has helped me know how to set up my life so I can live comfortably and possibly my children can as well.

Throughout this [budget] project I learned a lot. I would say the lesson I took the most knowledge from was the housing and rental unit. Previous to this I already knew a lot about car loans, credit and stuff like that. I also already learned and went through a budget, but it was nice to finally actually make a legit budget that I can use and follow when I get out of school. Also out of all the classes I have taken in my school career, especially math classes, I would say this is the only class I learned something valuable that would help me in the real world. Almost everything we learned in this class I will carry on with me and use in my day to day life.

I learned [through the budget project] that starting adulthood takes a lot of patience and saving. I also learned to appreciate my parents a lot more for what they do for me. I realize how hard it is to make a grocery list, pay all the bills, and still have time for us and all of our activities in school. I really need to go give my mom and dad a hug and thank them for all they do for me. I was really nervous about going to college and starting my adulthood away from my parents, but this class and this project have brought me comfort and knowledge that I will 100% be using in the future. I’m so glad I was able to participate in this class and this project. I think the banking unit and the credit unit were the most important units to me and my future so thank you again for giving me this opportunity to make my adulthood easier on me and others. :)

This [budget] project has put me through a roller coaster of thoughts, emotions and even memories, but most importantly I learned a lot. I would have never thought about the little things, like my shampoos and my subscriptions to many streaming services. I never realized how expensive anything really is, like grocery shopping and a simple kitchen table. I honestly thank you for this project and all of these insightful units because without you, I wouldn't know anything about mortgages, credit cards, what financing a car means etc. This has been a great year! 10/10 would recommend this for seniors.

Everything we learned in this class made me realize that graduation is not far away and it is about to happen, and how I need to prepare for everything coming my way, like housing and expenses. I am so glad I got to be in this class because a couple months ago I knew nothing about real life, but now I feel confident that I know where to start.

During this [budget] project I learned many valuable things about my future. Starting with money. This is the main thing that was shocking to me in many ways. Housing is so expensive, even just to rent. I think this will be one of the hardest challenges as I move out and live on my own. It will cause me not to spend so much when I go to the mall…
I found this project very beneficial to me and my future and I thank you for taking the time to create this lesson for us. I feel well prepared for the real world now knowing how much things are going to cost in a real life situation. I was taught how much I need to work in order to provide for myself. I was also taught that maybe I should start learning how to cook… lol.

While working on this [budget] project I did learn so many things I was not aware of. I learned how expensive I am and how hard my parents work to make sure we have everything we want and need. I thank you so much for helping me look farther in the future and understanding how much there is to know about money and being responsible.
